Growing up on a dryland wheat farm and cattle ranch east of Heppner presented me with real life experiences that have provided me with knowledge and awareness of a variety of ranching aspects. After college I went to work at Ruggs Ranch, where I was the general manager for 10 years. While at the Ruggs, I farmed, operated livestock and specialized in upland bird and big game hunting, guiding clients on many successful excursions.

Wanting to venture out on my own, I started Pioneer Outfitters, LLC. I have experienced great success with my company and have been featured on many network hunting programs and in some of the top hunting magazines throughout the country. In addition to running my outfitter business, I am a partner in a farm and ranch consulting company that specializes in land conservation and management. Through all of these ventures I have gained a vast knowledge and understanding of conservation practices and land management.
