Sutton Creek Pivot Ranch
Description
The Sutton Creek Pivot Ranch is nestled in a sagebrush valley only six miles from Baker City, Oregon and is surrounded by a sea of rolling sagebrush drainages that provide connectivity to the Whitman National Forest. This ranch has irrigated base acres along with a sagebrush/bunchgrass plant community that provides flexibility for a grazing rotation. The ranch has been improved to provide easier management for the new owner, with facilitating management practices that include newer fences and a pivot irrigation application system along with a livestock watering system. Two pivots, covering 100 acres, were installed in 2015. The pivots provide both quality hay production and fall grazing. A productive irrigation well located on the property has provided full season water for the Seller. Practical livestock working facilities with a barn and heated water troughs provide a well-rounded opportunity for livestock producers.
